Manual Lab

How to use Manual Lab

Manually bucket posts alongside the automated topics pipeline: you only fetch posts from the database—clusters, exclusions, and one-offs live in this page until you export or clear them.

  1. Load the inbox. Choose a date range (start and end), sort, and optional search. Matching posts land in Inbox.
  2. Drag to organize. Move cards from Inbox into Excluded (junk or off-topic—out of clustering), One-offs (valid posts without a cluster), or a topic cluster. Each post stays in only one cluster; dropping elsewhere updates that assignment.
  3. Shape clusters. Use New cluster, name it, drag posts in, remove them from a cluster if you change your mind, or restore from Excluded when needed.
  4. Export when ready. Download JSON or PDF to keep a snapshot of your layout (exports do not write clusters to Supabase).
  5. Autosave vs reset. Your layout drafts per date range in this browser. Clear Lab resets clusters, Excluded, and One-offs for now; Clear saved draft discards stored draft (student-brain-manual-lab:v1:2026-06-24_2026-06-26); neither deletes Supabase rows.
